Merrick Adams (b. 1992, Virginia Beach, VA) is a painter and printmaker whose meditative surfaces evoke oceanic rhythms. His solo shows include Soft Stars Hard Thunder at Turn Gallery (NY) and Cryptic Coloration at Scott Miller Projects (Birmingham, AL), with group exhibitions spanning Switzerland and major U.S. cities. Working in layered woodcut and screen print techniques, his paintings riff on light, water, and pattern, blending familial memoir with natural abstraction.
